Finding Common Ground

CHALLENGE

The Ottawa Police Service and the Coalition of Community Health and Resource Centres wished to strengthen their partnership to foster healthy, safe, and sustainable communities in Ottawa.

SOLUTION

We crafted reflective questions for a World Café conversation, synthesized ideas from over 75 participants in real time, and produced a thorough and organized report of the findings.

Stakeholders expressed their shared vision, discovered common ground, explored what they could achieve together that could not be achieved on their own, and considered how to organize their resources to take action together.

Leaders appreciated the relevance of the findings to strategic organization-wide goals and used the visual portrait to keep the partnership initiative top-of-mind as they developed and implemented operational plans.
